If you are docking in the port of Kiel, let us take you on an adventure to one of the most iconic and picturesque towns in Northern Germany and Europe - the medieval town of Lübeck, the red-brick city of the Hansa, Thomas Mann and Günther Grass. Visit this enchanting and breathtaking German town in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle picking up and dropping off directly at your cruise ship, and a passionate local guide who will take you to all of its gems. Marvel at its iconic gate, one of the most recognized symbols of the Baltic, see the stunning St Mary's Basilica - the predecessor of all red-brick Gothic Churches in this region, dating back from the mid-13th century. Our visit to Lübeck from Kiel was smooth from start to finish. The ride was comfortable, and the guide was friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. Walking through the town felt like stepping back in time. Everything ran perfectly on schedule, and we got back to the port with time to spare. If you’re considering it, just book it – you won’t regret it!

Relaxing and Informative Trip

I had such a great time on this trip! Everything was super comfortable, and even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we completely fell in love with this place. We had plenty of time to explore the city, buy some souvenires and enjoy a delicious Gluhwein (hot German wine with spaces) and a sausage. Recommended!

We visited the famous Holsten Gate, and I was amazed by how well it’s been preserved. The pace of the tour was great, and I appreciated having time to wander on my own and do some shopping. Our guide was lovely too!

This was one of the best tours we've taken on any cruise. The pick-up process went easy, and the guide made everyone feel welcome. Lubeck is a stunning town with so much character, and our guide's storytelling really brought it to life. The Holsten Gate and St. Mary's Church were our favorits.

The walking tour was the right length- not too long and not too short, and we had time for a little shopping and a coffee break before heading back. The whole trip felt relaxed but still filled with enough sightseeing to make it worthwhile. Big thanks to our guide Anne, who was one of the best tour guides we ever had!
