So glad we went with this tour...many other very similar, but this one seemed to be a more personal experience - which is exactly how it ended up being.
At the start of the day we were met at our accommodation by our Tour Guide (Mr Ohm) and our own personal min bus driver.
First we travelled to Chaing Do Cave and viewed wonderful lime stone formations and learnt about the local history and religion.
Then we went to a local village and helped prepare a traditional Thai lunch which we sat down and ate with them. We felt very honoured being able to share the locals time and learn how they live and what life is like for them.
After lunch we travelled to the Pong Arg Hot Springs where we relaxed & soaked our feet in the lovely warm running water. There are several pools, each of various temperature. You can also walk up to where the hot water comes from the earth (if your don't mind the sulfur smell) and feel how hot it is to begin with.
Lastly we drove to the nearby Srisangwan Sticky falls.... we had heard of the amazing Thailand Sticky Falls and we were disappointed... the colours of the lime stone rocks were more vivid than others i had seen in photos...and to be able to climb up the porous rocks was amazing...worth the experience..
Then finally we were driven back to our accommodation in Chaing Mai....a big, full but very enjoyable day.
We felt this was especially enjoyable because all the places we went to were not over populated with tourists (not sure if it was the time of year, or if we were lucky to be taken to not-commonly known places).
We can fully recommend this experience and thank the team for some wonderful memories.....
