Overview

Gettysburg is one of the most haunted locations in the United States, plagued by almost 150 years of intense paranormal activity. The hauntings in Gettysburg are the stuff of legends and are widely known throughout the rest of the country. This little town was the site of the bloodiest and arguably most important battle in the Civil War, which turned the tide toward Union forces. However, both sides of the battle took enormous losses, and itā€™s estimated that anywhere between 46,000 and 51,000 men were wounded, killed, or went missing during the three-day battle. These are the true stories of eerie encounters experienced by visitors to the battlefield. After booking, check your email to download the separate Audio Tour Guide App by Action, enter your unique password, and access your tour. These steps require good internet/Wi-Fi access. From there, follow the audio instructions and the route. New, extra validity ā€” now yours for an entire year! Use multiple times over multiple trips!

Great value and easy to use!

Published on Sep, 2024

Was easy to use. Had both historical and ghostly stories. Very cool! We were able to do part of the tour one day and then pick up where we left off at easily the next day.

Ghost tour 10/10

Ghost tour was great, it rained and our tour guide Jordan made the best out of the situation. We learned a lot and had a fun time. Would recommend to anyone looking for something to do in Gettysburg.

Fun and smart way to explore the battlefield

Published on Jul, 2024

Very easy to use and directions were simple to follow. It took a minute to figure out how it worked but after we got to the first location it started on its own. This tour was excellent because it combined the historical significance of the locations around Gettysburg, but also wove in stories of hauntings and creepy stories. This was a way to do the history tour without too much of the war and battle explanations, which arenā€™t everyoneā€™s thing. I liked how it instructed you to park and then just stopped playing until youā€™re driving at a new location. We got to go the entire way at our own pace and explore when we wanted to. WAY better than a guided walking tour in the summer heat!!

The overall awe of the...

The overall awe of the tour. Prior to this trip I have previously visited Gettysburg at least a dozen times. Never before had I utilized a tour guide per se. The trip was very informative and professionally put together. I am now going to explore the evening/night tours.

Good overview of the battlefield

Published on Feb, 2024

I knew nothing of the battlefield before this tour. I had NO IDEA it was so large! I live near Yorktown, Virginia and just always assumed going there would be like going to Yorktown. It was very different. The self-guided driving tour was a great intro for me and took us all over the battlefield. It has piqued my interest to learn more. There was history mixed with the ghost stories, which I absolutely loved. We only had one day to spend in Gettysburg and this was a nice, interesting way to please all members of the family.
