Overview

Join us and explore Thailand’s highest peak – Doi Inthanon National Park. The best time to visit is during December to February for cool climate and you will get a chance to see the blossom of Siamese sakura flowers all over the area. You will follow the nature trails in the park providing different views of the diversity of plants, reforestation, hilltribe agriculture, the origin of caves and bird watching. It will take approximately 2 hours for the trekking together with our local guide. Be amazed with the beautiful scenery on the mountain top and make a memories that last a lifetime during your holiday in Chiang Mai.

A must do, full day experience!

What a fantastic day! Our guide (Tong) shared his wealth knowledge, as we traveled along the winding roads, high into the mountains. From the picturesque waterfalls, twin pagodas, the Roof of Thailand, trekking the jungle forest and enjoying coffee at the local village, the experience was absolutely amazing. Tong, was spot on with our lunch suggestions. The meal turned out to be one of our favorites. Food in northern Thailand is some of the best, no doubt. I highly recommend this jam packed, full day experience! And, if you are able, ask for Tong! He made our trip so enjoyable. He answered all our questions, shared so much information about the area and its rich history. He even stopped to get me coffee early on, as I had not been able to get enough at our hotel before we departed on our adventure.

Great Day Tour to Doi Inthanon

We visited two pagodas atop Doi Inthanon and stopped for lunch by a Hmong market. We then went on a two-hour hike where we saw beautiful waterfals and learned about the local culture of the Karen people. Our tour guide Mr. Tong was fantastic and we recommend booking the tour with Mr. Tong. He takes amazing photos and tells great jokes.

The twin pagodas atop Doi Inthanon were spectacular. We visited a local Hmong marketplace and went on a two hour hike with a local Karen tribe guide where we learned about the local culture and environment. We were very lucky to catch a glimpse of a local Karen wedding fesitivity. A special shout-out to Tong, who was our incredible tour guide. He is passionate about explaining the history and culture of the area, kept us laughing with so many great jokes.
