Overview

We operate this 3,5 hours half day tour in the morning. A stunning and complete half day sightseeing tour of Paris in minibus. Constructed 2000 thousand years ago and divided in 20 districts, each one is a village with its own history and centers of interest. After picking you up at your hotel with one of our 8 seated air conditioned Mercedes Van, our professional guide will drive you to discover the most famous one’s. You will be dropped off at the boat cruise for the lunch. There is no return to the hotel but the lunch cruise starts and ends at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower.

What To Expect

1. Paris A stunning and complete half day sightseeing tour of Paris in minibus. Constructed 2000 thousand years ago and divided in 20 districts, each one is a village with its own history and centers of interest. After picking you up at your hotel with one of our 8 seated air conditioned Mercedes Van, our professional guide will drive you to discover the most famous one’s. There will be 3 stops * within the tour. You will see the Place de la Concorde with its Egyptian obelisk, some fountains, statues and columns, the Madeleine church looking like a Greek temple, then the Opéra Garnier gorgeous architecture from the 19th century, the rue de la Paix with its luxurious jewelers, Place Vendome with its column comitioned by Napoleon. You will then take the Rivoli street before joining the Champs Elysées Avenue. On the top is the Arc de Triomphe 50 meters high celebrating the Napoleon victories. After, you will go to see the Eiffel Tower * built for the Universal Exhibition in 1889. You will follow the Seine river bank where are located most of the major historical buildings of the city: Le Grand and le Petit Palais, the Louvre Museum with its glass pyramid, the Tuileries gardens, the Place des Vosges in the Marais district with its narrow medieval streets, the Bastille square and its columns celebrating the French revolution. You will cross the river Seine to join the left bank. You will stay 20 minutes to visit Notre-Dame Cathedral * (due to the incident, you will visit another monument in the area). You will continue with the Latin Quarter, Le Pantheon, the Luxembourg gardens, St Germain, St Sulpice churches, Les Invalides built in the 18th century where is Napoléon’s tomb. You will cross some of the most prestigious bridges during this trip: Alexandre III, Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge of the city. You will finish this visit with the "village" of Montmartre * where you will have another 20 minutes to stroll around the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and to the Place du Tertre where all the historical artists and painters used to show their works. After this astonished panorama of the city, you will be taken to the cruise where you will lunch. This ends the tour.

2. Eiffel Tower You will go to see the Eiffel Tower built for the Universal Exhibition in 1889. This stop allowes you to walk several minutes on the Trocadero building to have a wonderful panorama including the monument and where you can take some pictures. 10 minutes

3. Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris You will cross the river Seine to join the left bank. You will stay 20 minutes to walk around Notre-Dame Cathedral * (due to the incident, you will visit another monument in the area). 20 minutes

4. Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre You will also visit the "village" of Montmartre * where you will have another 20 minutes to stroll around the Sacré-Coeur Basilica and to the Place du Tertre where all the historical artists and painters used to show their works. 20 minutes

5. After the tour we will guide to the Seine quay at the bottom of the Eiffel tower for a friendly lunch cruise with the cruise Company: “Les Bateaux Parisiens”. The location of your table on the boat is depending on the menu you have chosen. The boat will cast off for a cruise which lasts around 2 hours. The view on Paris is breathtaking, a piano and violin will take you away and the food is excellent. Many of the most memorable views of the city are from the river. You will admire all the richness of the monuments and the 32 fascinating bridges. 2 hours

Great tour with a knowledgeable and personable guide.

We enjoyed a 1/2 day mini-van tour with Julie who provided great detail while navigating the crazy Paris traffic. We lucked out in that the tour was only 5 people, four of which were our family so it felt private. Julie showed us the highlights and provided some great recommendations for later. I would use this company again.
