For experienced riders: We provide the spiked tires, you bring the excitement. This unique bike journey (01 Nov - 29 Feb) combines Oslo's must see stops, a cozy coffee/snack break and an unforgettable winter experience, all within a 3-hour tour. Sites visited can change based on weather as well as seasonal activities such as Christmas markets, but are always chosen based on being safely accessible during winter conditions. There is plenty of time for stops and pictures. The guides will not only reveal the history behind the monuments and buildings, but cover topics relating to Norwegian culture and politics as well as modern life in Oslo. A guided Oslo Winter Highlights tour is the perfect way to discover Oslo safely and securely on a bike specifically equipped for winter cycling.

Meeting points

The Viking Biking tour begins at the DFDS boat terminal, right along the harbor. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station as well as the city hall. Looking for building 42 and the big DFDS boat to find our starting point.

Much of the downtown harbor is pedestrian, and during the tour we ride past many of the waterfront's main attractions: the strikingly modern area of Sørenga, the City Hall (home to the Nobel Peace Prize), the 700 year old fortress Akershus Festning and the retail and restaurant hub of Aker Brygge/Tjuvholmen
