    The tour meets near world famous Cafe Du Monde. The first stop is a scenic view of the Mississippi River and Jackson Square. It's here, in the heart of the Vieux Carre, that you will discuss the sex trade as part of the founding of the city

    Then, wind downriver stopping off for a drink at Tujague's on your way to the French Market to share tales of colorful port life. The Civil War and the public women's plight during this turbulent time is exposed.

    Quickly cross bustling Bourbon Street and head towards the back of town

    The second bar stop varies. One possibility is May Bailey's, a well known location for lewd and abandoned women. The tour concludes in front of a well known brothel in the shadows of Storyville.

Get a taste of female New Orleans history

This was such a fantastic tour. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and you could tell she cared about this city and it's history. The stories about the different women and how they influenced history really put their lives into perspective.

This was an enjoyable tour, the guide was very engaging and the other tour participants were also very fun and friendly. While there were not necessarily many buildings remaining to point out is was entertaining listening to the stories and we even stopped off for a cocktail towards the end of the tour!
