This tour was fantastic! Rose did an AMAZING job. Our night was filled with local lore and customs, vampire legends in various cultures that made their way to the city, and mysteries of the city that may or may not have certain undead creatures behind them. It was a delightful mix of documented history and oral tradition. At times, I felt like a student in a history class, and at other times I felt connected to generations of listeners sitting around campfires hearing tales that were half legend, half warning: don't go walking alone into the mist.

Rose was an awesome tour guide! We loved all the history and pop culture she added to her tour. Definitely recommend this tour if you want to learn some history of New Orleans and how vampires fit in.

Excellent Vampire Tour of French Quarter

We recently went on the Vampire Tour hosted by Rose Sinister. The tour was great! As a tour guide, Rose wove history of the French Quarter with folklore and vampire legends, which let us learn about New Orleans and the French Quarter while also getting to have some fun spooky stories along the way. During the two-hour tour, we stopped at six different locations to learn about the specific location’s unique part of vampire lore—whether it was a filming location for the Interview with the Vampire movie or The Originals TV show, a site of local legend, or important historical site like the Old Ursuline Convent. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in vampire lore, urban legends, and the sights of the French Quarter.

Awesome Tour!

Rose was awesome. Part performance artist, part historian, 100 percent vampire aficionado! We chose Rose’s tour over the bigger more commercial ones because of the reviews (and because we love all things vampire related) and we were not disappointed. Even my young adult son who came along grudgingly admitted to enjoying learning about the history of the area. Highly recommend it!
