Masseria Fragnite

A tale of the origins of the Masseria, what the historical term "Masseria" means and the ethics that accompany our supply chains; Discovering the stable with cows, calves and pigs. Visit to the milking parlor. All surrounded by the Fragni wood where animals are free to enter and live in freedom. Entrance to the Dairy with explanation of the production technologies of Cow Mozzarella, Burrata, Stracciatella and other typical Apulian cheeses. The Mastro Casaro will show the great dexterity and experience behind our entire supply chain. In the tasting, according to availability and tastes of the visitor, will be offered: Dairy products and cheeses: Mozzarella, Stracciatella or Burratina, Canestrato Pugliese, Caciocavallo and Giuncata or Ricotta. + jams or mustards; Cured meats: Capocollo, or Bacon and Salami. Baked products: Focaccia with tomato, Taralli or homemade bread and oil frize. Typical products: Fresh vegetables according to seasonal availability.

The experience especially the part witnessing how mozarella and burata were made was excellent. The guy Daniela was also very attentive and explained everything in details. She spoke English without accent.

The tour was very interesting. Gabriela spoke very good English, so her explanations were not simplistic but quite detailed about how the mozerella is made and how the farm operates. The brunch was very generous and it was very nice to try the different products we had seen in production. The Google maps link to the meeting point was spot on.
