  • Chureito Pagoda

    The Chureito Pagoda is a five storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.

  • Oshino Hakkai

    Oshino Hakkai is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals.   • Narusawa Ice Cave

    The Narusawa Ice Cave is a lava tube located in the Aokigahara forest, in the part that belongs to Narusawa Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the three larger lava tubes at the northern foot of Mount Fuji, the other two caves being Fugaku Wind Cave and Lake Sai Bat Cave. This is optional if you want to visit this you can tell our driver about this in the morning.

  • Fugaku Wind Cave

    The Fuji Fugaku Wind Cave is surrounded by the abundant greenery of the Aokigahara Jukai forest. Once you enter the cave, it is pleasantly cool even in summer, with an average temperature of 3℃. Up until the beginning of the Showa era, it was used as a refrigerator to store the eggs of silkworms. The cave has also been designated as a Japanese natural monument. The lateral cave is 201m long and 8.7m high, and strangely enough, does not produce an audible echo. This is because its basaltic walls act to absorb the sound. In the course of a 15 minute sight-seeing tour, one can see lava shelves, rope-like lava, and ice pillars that do not melt even in summer.     Kubota Itchiku (1917-2003) was the artist who revived the lost art of Tsujigahana silk dyeing, used to decorate elaborate kimono during the Muromachi Period (1333-1573). In his early twenties he was so inspired by a fragment of Tsujigahana textile exhibited at the Tokyo National Museum, that he devoted the rest of his life to recreating and mastering the labor-intensive silk dyeing technique.     You can enjoy 16 kinds of baths with a view of Mt. Fuji, such as the sacred mountain open-air bath and panoramic bath with a great view of Mt. Fuji, the carbonated spring that gently wraps your body with carbonic acid bubbles, and the cave bath with fantastic lighting. In addition, at the private dining room "Okariba", we have prepared hot pot dishes using plenty of local ingredients that you can enjoy around the hearth, such as Yamanashi's specialty "Hotou Nabe". The production that the mini SL brings the food to the room is also popular. We also offer various body refreshes. After taking a bath, take a rest and heal the tiredness of your daily life.
