Overview

This is a countryside day to learn more about Provencal wines, try the best local appetizers and feel the peaceful atmosphere of authentic villages away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. You'll admire the beautiful landscapes around Sainte Victoire mountain, have a walk through vines fields and visit a winery where you'll taste the estate wines, learn more about art of tasting and wine productin. We'll have a game of pétanque in a very cute hilltop village with wines and Provencal appetizers that I'll prepare for you. Just like locals do ! Then, you'll have your lunch, in the heart of this pictoresque village or in the middle of the nature, in another restaurant few kilometers from there where I can drive you. Both are really good! Our last stop is Saint-Maximim-la-Sainte-Baume. While strolling there you can visit its basilica where you'll find Mary Magdalene's skoll (!) Don't hesitate to have a coffee and try the best local ice-creams in the main square. Ready to unwind? :)

Itinerary

  • Montagne Sainte Victoire

    Nice road on Sainte Victoire massif and walk through vines fields and in the perched village where we will have a small game of petanque on the local square. Visit and wine tasing in one of wineries. Just authentic Provence far away from mass tourism.

    A walk through this nice and authentic village of Sainte Victoire mountain, a game of pétanque, wine tasting..just strolling without any pressure.

  • Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume

    Stroll in this old, autnetic medium size village, shopping and basilica visit with the skoll of Mary Magdalene.
