Overview

After your departure from Marseille, enjoy 1h30 free time to lunch and to visit the elegant city of Aix en Provence not to be missed. Then, with your wine expert guide, drive to the wine region of Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire located at the foot of the famous Sainte-Victoire mountain. Visite 2 wineries and learn about the characteristics of this terroir. Find out about local grape varieties and the wine making process while visiting the cellars of 2 top wineries. Meet the winemakers and taste sevral AOP Côtes de Provence wines in 3 colors : red, rosé and white, in each winery.

Departure time: 11am Departure point: Place du Mazeau, 13002 Marseille There is a bus stop (blue sign for Bus 49) on the street: your guide will meet you there, holding a "Provence Wine Tours" sign - you can look for it.

    Meet your professional driver and english-speaking, wine expert guide in Marseille, at 11am. He will then take you in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan to Aix-en-Provence, a city not to be missed!

  • Aix-en-Provence

    You will enjoy about 1.30 hour, free time on your own to lunch and stroll through the charming and lively streets of Aix-en-Provence. The perfect french lifestyle! Enjoy a drink in a shady place or visit the daily market, a favorite place of the Provençals.

  • Montagne Sainte Victoire

    In the afternoon, with your wine expert guide, discover the iconic wine region of Côtes de Provence Sainte Victoire, and enjoy the magnificent view on the Sainte Victoire Mountain, painted by Cezanne! You'll get private visit & tastings at 2 family-owned wineries, where you'll learn about the characteristics of this famous terroir and will find out about local grape varieties and the wine making process. We will also explain you how to properly taste wine like a professional. You'll enjoy fine Rosés, aromatic whites. What about fruity and well structured red wines? You will be back to Marseille around 5pm to the same place where we met in the morning (starting point).
