Overview

Did you know that you can draw pictures on matcha? In this experience, you make your own matcha and draw pictures or write letters on it. It's done at a table, so you don't have to sit upright. You can redraw it as many times as you like, so you might be surprised at your drawing talent. Although there are no tatami mats, the tools, tea leaves, and sweets are all authentic, so you can experience the atmosphere of a tea ceremony. You can also draw on the sign plate. Sign your name in kanji and you're done!

Meeting Point

The place is one-minute walk from the Shijo Horikawa bus stop. It is on the second floor of the building on the southwest corner of the big intersection of Shijo Street and Horikawa Street. The first floor is a shoe repair shop.
