This 2-hour private walking tour focuses specifically on the Marais, one of the oldest district of Paris. You will of course discover some famous landmarks such as Place des Vosges, but also some more hidden parts of this amazing neighborhood such as Hotel de Sens. Your guide is a native Parisian, speaking fluent English, who is willing to show and explain you what makes this area so nice. The quality of service is very important to us, we want you to feel the most comfortable possible with us, and our guide will behave with you as your Parisian best friend. You will be able to ask all the questions you have as it is a private tour, dedicated to your group only. This service is perfect to discover the Marais as an insider!

What To Expect

1. 4th Arr. - Hotel-de-Ville The Hôtel de Ville is the monument housing the city's local administration. It first has been built in the 16th century, but then was burned during the Paris Commune in 1871. Then it was rebuilt following the original design. 5 minutes

2. Hotel de Sens The Hôtel de Sens is a medieval private mansion. This is one of the hidden gem in the Marais. 10 minutes

3. Jardin de l'Hotel de Sully Disvover the very nice gardens of a quite hidden "hotel particulier" in the heart of the Marais. 5 minutes

4. Place des Vosges The Place des Vosges is the oldest square in Paris. It was a fashionable place in the 17th and 18th centuries. This is probably the most well-known landmark in the Marais. 10 minutes

5. Jardins des Archives Nationales Nice garden surrounding a beautiful "hotel particulier" 10 minutes

6. Square du Temple - Elie-Wiesel Nice park in the North Marais 5 minutes

7. Le Marais You will discover all the main points of this amazing neighborhood 2 hours

8. Jewish quarter The most famous Jewish neighborhood in Paris 15 minutes

Romantic trip for the anniverasary

This was a surprise for my wife and trust me - it was a great one ! Quenting was a great host! Even though I've been to Paris before, seen Marais, I've never visited it this way - he made it a brand new experience, joy elevated higher than the Eiffel Tower :) . Totally can recommend !

The Marais is such a nice and interesting neighborhood. We booked this private tour with my wife because we wanted to know all the details. Our guide Quentin was great, very professional and actually a really nice person.

My wife and I really enjoyed this Marais tour. The Marais is a great neighborhood, with a lot of private mansions, and this was definitely better to have a private guide to explain everything to us. Quentin was knowledgeable, nice and very flexible. He modified the time of beginning to fit with our specific requirements. We really recommend this tour!

I did this tour with my husband when we have been to Paris earlier this month. Our guide knew a lot about the area and was really nice. The Marais is full of very nice private mansions and we discovered a lot of them.
