    The Debod Temple, a jewel of the Nile brought to Madrid stone to stone to rebuild in Europe a complete Egyptian Temple saved from the Aswan Damm construction. It's more than 2.220 years old and was consecrated to the god Amon.

This was one of the best and most informative tours we have had in Madrid! Maria was excellent, professional, and very knowledgeable. We could have followed her around all day. The worst part of the trip was when we had to leave our guide, Maria. Highly recommend and would definitely do again to retain more of the plethora of information.

Excellent walking tour of the historical area of Madrid. Maria really knew her history and was enthusiastic to share it with us. Comfortable walking shoes are a must though. Also, not a tour for little kids, since it is heavy on historical details, and they would be completely bored.
