We can arrange for pickups at other locations in the Funchal area as long as there's a known reference point and a place where our vehicle can safely stop for some minutes without blocking any roads or traffic. Our staff will contact you with the most accurate time for your pickup. Pickups outside the Funchal area are available (at extra cost). Please contact us for advice on the best pickup for you according to your location/accommodation.

1. Vereda Do Larano This is a fascinating journey, a rich walk composed of agricultural land and crops from Machico city, complemented with the superb views over São Lourenço península, Porto Santo Island and northeastern coast. 6 hours

Lido tours! You've excelled again. Well organised and communicated pick up time and location. Arrived promptly and transferred with other guests to start point. Charlotte, our guide was considerate, thoughtful and informative at all times and gave due regard to the needs of the group.Beautiful scenery and a good level of physical activity made for a very enjoyable day taking in the sights of Madeira. Wonderful walk guided by lovely and talented Charlotte. Nice stories and details, very inspiring. Views were incredible. The time and kilometers flied! Strong recommendation if not afraid of heights.

Great hike with Charlotte

I would recommend Lido Tours to everyone who wants to visit Madeira and enjoy some hikes with beautiful landscapes and ocean views. On 31 July, we had a great guide, Charlotte, who was caring, easy-going, funny, smiling and talkative. I enjoyed the hike with her. She is also multilingual (English, Portuguese, French and German at least). Our driver, Nunu, was professional and very polite. He asked everyone how did you enjoy the tour when we were going back to the van. That is a very nice attitude that I would not expect. Charlotte, merci beaucoup! :)

"Raw nature" at its best

Tour guide Charlotte and driver Nuno were a good team. We enjoyed the hike along the North Eastern coast of the island. There were almost no other tourist and we could experience "raw nature" at its best. The tour finished with a traditional drink called Poncho (fresh orange, honey, rum). Cheers!
