Itinerary

  • Los Cabos (Pass By)

    Once onboard your air-conditioned vehicle, leave Los Cabos and enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to the format capital, La Paz. As you pass by the Pacific Ocean, look out for the giant Humpback whales as they breach and play in the deep blue sea.

  • Malecon

    Arriving at the cosmopolitan boardwalk of La Paz, meet your expert guide and local boat captains, and get kitted out with your snorkel gear. Board the local style "panga" boat and cruise into the main bay. Home to whale sharks every winter, this is their feeding ground, and the conditions provide plenty of krill for them to feed on. Once alongside the whale sharks, slip into the Ocean and swim with them in their natural habitat. Your marine mammal guide will always be with you, giving the best recommendations on making the experience unforgettable. After your once-in-a-lifetime swim, head back to the boardwalk and stroll to the local seafood restaurant. Regional dishes are included as well as soft drinks and water. Enjoy your well-deserved meal before boarding the air-conditioned vehicle.

The whale shark experience with Mario was awesome. I gave it a 5 star because of how fun he made it. It’s something that I never thought I would have done but I’m so glad I did. I would definitely prepare before you do this experience since it does require physical work but it’s so worth it.

We really had a great time in La Paz swimming with the whale sharks. It’s a truly unique experience when you are so close to their giant creatures. Our guide Mario and Dante are super helpful along the way.

We went on the whale shark adventure to celebrate our engagement and had a fabulous time! Mario was an incredible host! Very comical and made the trip so much fun! Jorge was a wonderful captain and Dante made sure we got the best experience with the whale sharks (we saw a total of 5!!) and the best photos (worth the value!)! Highly recommend this trip! Ask for Hector as your driver!

Swimming with whale sharks was super cool. Everyone from Cabo Adventures was really nice and helpful. However I booked via Viator which cost more and they falsely advertised that we would stop at Hotel California. Book directly with Cabo Adventures.
