Tour start at 11am : Having the luxury of Knossos all to your self and enjoying a guided tour of this Magnificent Monument of Minoan civilization home to legends such as the Minotaur and Labyrinth. Join our small group (up to 12 pax) Walking tour at Knossos palace with a Licensed Tourist Guide. Heraklion Archaeological Museum

Tour start at 02:00pm (14:00 o'clock) The Heraklion Archaeological Museum is one of the largest and most important museums in Greece, and among the most important museums in Europe. It houses representative artefacts from all the periods of Cretan prehistory and history, covering a chronological span of over 5,500 years from the Neolithic period to Roman times. The singularly important Minoan collection contains unique examples of Minoan art, many of them true masterpieces. The Heraklion Museum is rightly considered as the museum of Minoan culture par excellence worldwide.

Very good tour and guides at Knossos and the museum. There are guides available for hire at the entrance to Knossos as well. The museum is definitely worth it for those interested in history. You should be aware that all the tall structures, pillars and frescos at Knossos are reconstructions.

Katarina was a fantastic tour guide that provided very good insight into the site and was extremely helpful in assisting getting to the museum back in town along with providing a very detailed and interesting tour

Our guide George was fantastic! He took us to both the palace as well as the museum. He was well prepare in all aspects, including how to avoid too much sun at the palace. I highly recommend this tour. I would’ve missed a lot trying to go without a guide.
