While Rome has countless stunning sites and interesting walks, I so highly recommend this tour.
Micaela Pavoncello - a Roman Jewish woman - is a superb guide, and she provides fascinating accounts about the Jewish ghetto and synagogues. The lives, persecution, resilience, and faith of the people are detailed. We sat in the Great Synagogue, listened intently to the community’s history, and walked the whole area. The commemorative stones placed in front of Holocaust victims’ homes are particularly compelling.
During those three short hours, we were entranced. Micaela is a vibrant, captivating storyteller. For individuals interested in history, this tour will be a top memory of their Rome trip.
Thank you Micaela!
