Overview

Travel through the incredibly scenic Maligne Valley of Jasper National Park while searching for the abundant wildlife spotted frequently in the area. You’ll go on a short walk to see stunning waterfall vistas at Maligne Canyon and stop for photos at Medicine Lake before embarking on a guided nature walk along the lakeshore at Maligne Lake.

Pickup Details

* Hotel pick-up times vary and will be confirmed upon booking. * If your pick up location is within the immediate Jasper townsite, please be ready 15 minutes prior to departure time. * For outlying properties including Beckers Chalet, Jasper House Bungalows, Tekkarra Lodge, Wapiti campground, Whistlers Campground, Patrica Lake Bungalows and Pyramid Lake Resort, please be ready 30 minutes prior to departure time. * For pick-up from Pine Bungalows please be ready at departure time for pickup between 5-10 minutes after departure time. * For pick-up from Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, please be ready 15 minutes AFTER departure time. * Complimentary pick-up is available from selected accommodations within the Jasper Area. * Pick-up is also available from vacation rentals within the immediate Jasper townsite — please specify the accommodation name and street address. * If your hotel is not listed, please specify you will meet at our Central Meeting Location — Two Brothers Totem Pole, 416 Connaught Drive, Jasper (opposite Parks Canada Information Centre).

To request complimentary pick-up from your accommodation, please specify which hotel you are staying at. Pickup times vary therefore your exact pick-up time will be confirmed upon booking.
If you are staying outside of Jasper, please specify Jasper Downtown Location - at Two Brothers Totem Pole across from Parks Canada Information Center on Connaught Drive. Your meeting time will be 15 minutes prior to your trip’s departure time. All-day parking is located in the parking lot.

A moderate amount of walking is involved. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Wonderful tour guide, Sam educated and explained so much about the mammals and habitats. Led informative hike, educated on geology and formations of land masses.

Great views and the hike was fantastic.. Jake was a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable. Saw lots of wildlife bears. Moose,Eagles,Osprey. Fantastic day

This was a great excursion. Our tour guide Jake was great. We saw many animals and the hike was fun. I also recommend the Maligne lake trip. We hope to do that on our next trip to the area

A great way to view Maligne Canyon and Maligne lake with some wildlife spotting along the way. Seairra was a wonderful guide and the hike at the lake was very pleasant and not strenuous.
