Monte Brasil is located in Angra do Heroísmo, on the south coast of Terceira Island, in the Azores. It comprises a caldera surrounded by four peaks: Pico das Cruzinhas, Pico do Facho, Pico da Quebrada (where the whale watch is located) and Pico do Zimbreiro.

Visit to the Facho viewpoint in Praia Vitória, this famous tourist spot offers a panoramic view over the city of Praia Vitória and has a very interesting history.

Praia da Vitoria

Praia Vitória is the name of the second largest city on the island of Terceira, rich in heritage and culture, we will pass by the views of the volcanic sand beach and the empire of charity. Free time will be given about 1 hour for lunch.

A mandatory stop at the natural pools of Biscoitos, one of the best landscapes you will see on Terceira Island. Pure and crystalline waters in the midst of volcanic rock.

Excellent All day tour

We so enjoyed our full day tour. Our guy Andre was so knowledgeable and helpful. My family of 6 adults and in-laws had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect sunny and clear. The van was very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour for those who wants to see all the highlights of this beautiful Terceira island. So glad that I booked this tour for our families. Theresa

Saw everything, Amelia was willing to modify, stay longer at any place and kept saying she was here to provide the best local experience to us. Because she was born on the island, we got an insiders view. Everyone knows her and her blue hair!

We had a fabulous day with Azores Nature Tours. Easy to book online and great communication ensured we were picked up just where we wanted to be by Amélia, our tour guide. We drove around the island taking in beautiful scenery, amazing viewpoints, towns and top tourist spots. Amélia was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so knowledgeable. She was a good driver, great fun and gave us as much time as we wanted at each stop. Highlights for us included Monte Brasil, Serra do Cume and the Biscoitos natural pools. Our tour bus was clean and comfortable and Amélia delivered us back to our hotel with lots of photos and amazing memories. Highly recommend

An excellent tour of the island

Tour was at a good pace and not too much information where it overwhelmed. Guide was excellent. Believe her name was Emilia/Amelia. (blue haired girl). Good personality and gave enough information so that it was informative, but not to point of being boring. Pickup and dropoff was problem free.
