    We visit Monte Brasil, a volcano which was formed from underwater

    We will drive by BaĆ­a da Salga, where the locals fought the spanish preventing them to invade the island in 1581

  • Imperio do Espirito Santo de Sao Sebastiao

    Here, we will stop for visiting the church, which is one of the oldest, as well as the ImpƩrio of the Holy Spirit, one of the fulcral elements of our culture

  • Serra do Cume Viewpoint

    We will drive to the top of Serra do Cume, one of the last ridges of vulcĆ£o dos cinco picos, also the biggest caldeira of the Azores

  • Praia da Vitoria

    We will drive to Praia da VitĆ³ria, the secondary city of our island, where we will go to the top of Serra do Facho to overlook the city and its bay

  • Biscoitos

    We will drive to Biscoitos, a village located on the north coast, where to this day we still plant vineyards. Here, we will also visit the natural swimming pools

  • Algar do Carvao

    Here you will have the opportunity to visit one of the most unique volcanic formations in the world! This is optional, according to schedule on Montanheiro's website

Our guide, Paulo was excellent, kind, knowledgeable and wonderful with our two small children (5 & 9). He took us so many places and really catered the day for our family. What an amazing tour. Paulo was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Not just about the beautiful sights, but also the history. He has many wonderful stories and he was very entertaining.Pickup and drop off right at our hotel in Angra was super convenient. The eight hours flew by! I highly recommend this tour.
