We can enjoy learning something about this historical place within a 700-year era. And this will be great to understand what Manila has become today and where the Philippines has come from. Iterenary: • Manila Cathedral • Plaza de Roma • Fort Santiago • Dr. Jose Rizal Shrine • White Cross • Dungeon • San Agustin Church - every Monday closed • Casa Manila Museum - Takenote every Monday Closed Don’t forget to wear comfortable attire (inside the church wear something modest and comfortable) P.S. I had an incredible time on this Intramuros tour, and I owe much of that to our amazing guide, Mari. She wasn’t just knowledgeable she made history come alive. Her storytelling was clear, engaging, and filled with passion. She managed to take the deep, complex history of the Philippines from its colonial past to the harrowing Battle of Manila and present it in a way that was easy to follow yet deeply moving. The tour itinerary was well-planned, covering must-see sites like Fort Santiago, the Manila Cathedral, and the Dr. Jose Rizal Shrine. Mari provided fascinating insights at each stop, giving context that helped me better understand how Manila has evolved over the centuries. Whether you’re a history buff or a curious traveler, this tour is a must and I highly recommend asking for Mari. Her energy, knowledge, and storytelling truly elevated the whole experience!

Excellent History Lesson

This is the second tour I booked with Mari and it did not disappoint. She starts the tour with an excellent history lesson on the Philippines. Then you head to Intramuros where she takes you into a cathedral, then Fort Santiago, a basilica, and finally a mansion. Along the way you learn a lot about the history of Manila, and how it relates to the history of the Philippines. You learn how history has shaped the current state of the city and country. Mari was fantastic. She's extremely personable, passionate, and loves her culture. You won't find a better tour guide.
