Your guide will be waiting for you on the road in front of Starbucks Hiroshima Hondori Store. I will be carrying a red stuff of the local baseball team, Hiroshima Carp.

What To Expect

1. Hiroshima Kinzagai Shop Street We will start from Hondori Shopping Arcade, the most prosperous street in Hiroshima. First, we'll provide a brief lecture on what Hiroshima Prefecture is like, followed by a history of Hondori Shopping Arcade and it's highlights while walking. 20 minutes

2. Ebisu Shrine Ebisu Shrine is a shrine that has been cherished by the local community for about 400 years. It is beloved by the people of Hiroshima as a deity of prosperity in business. 20 minutes

3. Catholic Noboricho Church, Memorial Cathedral for World Peace Memorial Cathedral for World Peace was constructed to commemorate the victims of the atomic bombing and to pray for world peace. It is the first post-war building to be designated as a Important Cultural Property. 30 minutes

4. Fukuya, Hatchobori Honten This is a building that has been preserved and continued to be used as a testament to the traces of the atomic bombing. 20 minutes

5. Okonomimura Okonomimura is restaurants where you can enjoy Hiroshima's local dish, okonomiyaki. We'll introduce you to what okonomiyaki is, as well as its history. You can also tour inside the building. 30 minutes
