  • Atomic Bomb Dome

    Atomic-Bomb Dome. Stop and see the Atomic Bomb Dome which was used for the first time in history and a reminder of what happened here.

  • Rest House of Hiroshima Peace Park

    Take a rest at a rest house or see a small museum/ origami experience. This building is one of the surviving buildings from A-Bomb, now this building is not only used for tourist information but small museum of survivors in the basement.

  • Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims

    The hypocenter of the atomic bomb (ground level). Stop the hypocenter and picture after the bomb. See the picture of the monument.

  • Saiko-ji Temple

    Stop at the Japanese temple to see how the heat and blast was huge when the Bomb exploded. See some of the evidence of what happened.

  • Children's Peace Monument

    Stop at the Children's monument. Stop and see one girl's story who tries to fold a paper crane hoping to recover from leukemia based on Japanese belief.

    Lunch at near Peace Memorial Park. Okonomi-yaki (Hiroshima style), Ramen, and Sushi due to guest request. The guide will introduce you to local restaurants. Some options for vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free guests.

    See the peace memorial cenotaph. The guide shares its history, the reason for its shape, and its meaning. Guest will find its design concept.

    Walk and see the peace museum. You'll see the city of Hiroshima before/ after, and how this city recovered from the devastating situation. Entrance fee: 200 JPY/ Adult, 100 JPY/children NOTE: If you have under 12 years old children, there are some graphics which not recommended for younger ages.

Revealing Context and History

Pancho was excellent and provided a great history and overview of Hiroshima and.the tragedy of August 1945. The in depth narrative and personal experience was incredible.

Very touching day at Hiroshima

Poncho is a very knowledgeable guide. His passions about Hiroshima and sharing his family story was very moving. He speaks excellent English and worked to make sure he took care of the small details. I have celiac and he worked ahead of time to find a nearby restaurant that served gluten free food. I would recommend him highly!

Secrets of Hiroshima & Stories Galore

Pancho was an incredible tour guide. I've been to Hiroshima three times before with mixed amounts of tour guide/self-guiding; this was by far the best tour I ever had. We went off the beaten path to what felt like secret museums (because we were one of very few guests there, or the only ones there), and Pancho peppered the whole tour with anecdotes and stories that colored the whole experience. I'd highly recommend Pancho's tour!

Best experience in Hiroshima with fantastic guide!

Pancho was an excellent guide, from before we arrived in Hiroshima, and throughout the tour. We communicated via text messages, which was very convenient, and exchanged photos to make it easier for us to find each other at the pier. Pancho walked us all around; he has a recommended tour which worked great for us. The highlight was the children's school museum. This brought home the extreme hardships of the people before and after the bomb through the eyes of the children and the survivors. 3 members of our group preferred vegetarian, so Pancho sent us 4 options for restaurants. We ate lunch at one of them, and it was so good. We later ate dinner at another of his recommendations, and WOW! So glad we did! If you want Okonomiyaki, definitely ask Pancho for his recommendations. I think it was called Waka Taka; it's on the main shopping street, just a few blocks from the Dome. We really enjoyed the conversation at lunch. Pancho is from Hiroshima and his grandparents were survivors. It would not be possible to find a better guide!

He takes you to some hard to find places that immensely enhance your Hiroshima experience. The walking tour was perfect length and Pancho was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Pancho for your tour guide.
