Take a sea kayaking excursion in the Gulf Islands with a guided, full-day, by seaplane flight from Vancouver to Ganges Harbour. Hop on a seaplane from Vancouver to British Columbia's Gulf Islands. Then kayak the Saltspring Island waters looking for everything from whales, seals, otters, seagulls, eagles, and more. Return to downtown Vancouver before getting dark and Enjoy your wonderful evening after refreshments. This trip includes 4 hours of sea kayaking and pick up from and returns to accommodation anywhere in Vancouver — including hotels, private residences, and Air B&B. ***Cancellation of 4 or more guests must be made within 48 hours before the tour starts.

A fabulous day exploring the islands around Salt Spring.

Our family had a wonderful day from start to finish. Flying to Salt Spring Island with Harbour Air was a fabulous experience. To then be met by the guys from Beachside for our day sea kayaking. Michael was a fantastic guide, he told us lots about the history of the islands and helped us spot loads of wildlife, including harbour seals, osprey and bright purple sea stars. The weather was perfect and the paddling was very chilled. Returning to Vancouver on the sea plane was a brilliant end to the day. Many thanks to Mike from Lotus Land Tours for organising such a special trip.

Weather in Vancouver in September is already tricky. The forecast for our vacation showed rain every day for a week! We got lucky though, and missed the rain during our kayak trip but ran into lots of wind. I think our guide would have cancelled the trip except my husband and I were experienced kayakers. It was a little challenging and I would have preferred a less strenuous kayak but I’m glad we did it. The seaplane over was great, everything worked like clockwork, our guide was a cool kid who was lots of fun and enthusiastic, we were met on time and it didn’t start raining until we got back to Vancouver! BTW it was my birthday trip! What a great present!

My son and I booked this trip and had a fantastic time. Our guide Rose was so knowledgeable about the islands and sea life and the whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. They had extra gear like water shoes, ball caps and jackets just in case we were unprepared (which we were) and make sure we had a great trip. The new owners were very accommodating and friendly. The seaplane was really cool and provided a great perspective of the terrain. We even saw a whale from the plane!
