Overview

Join us as we head out in search of marine wildlife in the waters of British Columbia on this 3-hour whale-watching adventure in Victoria! Hop aboard your open-air vessel in Victoria’s inner harbour and enjoy an intimate wildlife experience for the adventurous at heart! The zodiac is custom built for exploring the Salish Sea. Keep a sharp lookout for whales, pinnipeds and other marine wildlife!

There is a minimum passenger height restriction of 4ft (120cm)
Each passenger is required to sign a Release of Liability at check in. Participants must be 19 years of age, or require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date/time/vessel or full refund

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Whales, a Sea Otter, and More.. oh my!

From booking our trip to sailing with our fantastic captain, our trip was awesome and we had the best day! Tyler got us booked in and ensured the timing and type of boat would work for us, the front counter staff were friendly and courteous, assisting us to get signed in, and then Captain George ensured that we had a safe and engaging time. We saw a puffin, sea lions, 4 humpbacks, an eagle, cormorants and a sea otter, as well as some beautiful BC coastline. Our time did not feel rushed and George took the time to tell us information about everything we saw. We were nice and warm in the survival suits and truly enjoyed our zodiac adventure!

Got to see some humpback whales and a pod of orcas. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The survival suits they give keep you warm the whole boat ride!

Mark and the crew were amazing. Planned out the trip from the most current sightings and made the most of the excellent weather conditions. Worked hard to cover alot of water and we made 3 excellent sightings of Humpback and then Killer whales. Added in some sea lions too. Shared alot of relevant knowledge as we went. Awesome.

Just an incredible experience from start to finish! Tess and Talvi were a great welcome getting us hyped up and all set up in our super suits! Our driver Karac was great even with not the calmest of waters but gave us an exciting zodiac ride through the waves and a successful spotting of some orcas! Thank you prince of whales for an epic day!

We had a great time with our amazing captain George! The whole family was thrilled to see killer whales, sea lions, bald eagles and otters. Highly recommended!
