Experience Austin from a new perspective with a guided tour. Our guides are professional, helpful and friendly. On this tour you will learn all about the history of Austin, Lady Bird Lake, and Barton Springs. This tour is the best way to experience Austin.

Meeting points

We will meet downstairs at the Kayak Rental Desk. We are located at the Waller Creek Boathouse. There is no onsite parking, we recommended parking either on the street or at the Mexican American Cultural Center. From there it is a 5 minute walk through the trail.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

  • Congress Avenue Bridge Bat Watching (Pass By)

    We will stop at the historic Congress Avenue Bridge which is home to the Mexican Free-Tailed Bats.

  • Barton Springs Pool (Pass By)

    Barton Springs is a set of four natural water springs located at Barton Creek on the grounds of Zilker Park in Austin, Texas, resulting from water flowing through the Edwards Aquifer.

  • Stevie Ray Vaughan Statue (Pass By)

    Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial is a bronze sculpture of Stevie Ray Vaughan by Ralph Helmick.

Epic kayak day with an epic tour guide

My friends and I had a great time and much to our surprise did not get consumed by any Lady Bird Lake demons. My instructor Pedro was cheerful and made me feel like the best kayaker in the world. I wish I could take him home with me and make him accompany me on all my kayaking adventures.
