The best all day adventure combo on Rincon de la Vieja Volcano that includes ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing, full lunch, hot springs, and volcanic mud bath. Ziplining The course takes you into a steep canyon where you will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a hanging bridge, rappel, and a tarzan swing! (rappel & swing optional) Horseback Riding - 45-minute ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of the volcano River Tubing - You will have the time of your life bouncing down Rio Negro’s crystal clear and fun rapids in your individual rafting “tube” for over 5 kilometers. Lunch includes a salad bar, many choices of entrees and sides, dessert bar, fresh juice, coffee and tea. All dietary resctrictions can be accommodated After lunch you will driven to the Hot Springs & Mud Bath. Parque Nacional Rincon de la Vieja

The best all day adventure combo on Rincon de la Vieja Volcano that includes ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing, full lunch, hot springs, and volcanic mud bath. Ziplining First you will get strapped in your harness and start the ziplining course through the canopy and canyons! The course takes you into a steep canyon over a turbulent river, where you will zipline, rappel and rock climb, cross hanging bridges and ride Tarzan swings. You will go down 8 zip line cables, 18 platforms, a climbing wall, a hanging bridge, “via ferrata” (cable) rappel, and a tarzan swing! Horseback Riding After ziplining, you will return to the tour base to prepare for a 45-minute horseback ride through the forest viewing the local flora and fauna of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano

Hot Springs & Volcanic Mud Bath After lunch you will driven to the Hot Springs. Surrounded by tropical dry forest, the Río Negro (Black River) Hot Springs feature ten pools with thermal waters heated naturally by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.The soothing mineral waters are crystal clear and all natural, and the river flows through the pools constantly refilling them with water. Relax and enjoy luxuriating in our healing waters. You can also try our volcanic mud “bath”, where you smooth volcanic clay mud all over yourself like a spa “masque,” then after it dries, wash it off with a cool river water shower. The hot springs water will feel great afterwards!

Great day with this tour

This tour was escorted by a great driver and very knowledgeable tour guide. We opted out of the horseback riding (we have done this in the past and we are not comfortable riding these beautiful but large creatures). This was the first stop about 40 minutes. The other people on the tour enjoyed them. The white water tubing was quite intense because the area had experienced a lot of rainfall prior to our trip. The zip lining was a lot of fun. The men were incredibly professional and I felt safe. The hot springs were beautiful and the lunch was the best food I’ve had In guenecaste. The only negative on this tour for us was the tubing. It was very rough and my husband and I both flipped our tube so I would not recommend this for someone who thinks they are going to float down a river and enjoy the scenery. The men were professional and gave everyone important information. So I would ask them for advice if you have any concerns. But overall it was an amazing experience.

Dafne was an amazing guide! Very nice and informative. She made our experience today a lot of fun and it always felt very organized. The tour overall was phenomenal. So much fun! definitely not for the faint of heart as for the tubing and ziplining. Awesome start to our honeymoon! We have 3 other excursions planned with natives way this week we are looking forward too.

Tubing on Steroids

My wife and I put together a tour every year in Costa Rica. This year, there were 12 in our group. We did the all-day pass here. Everyone is still talking about this day, which was full of adventure and adrenaline rushes. The horseback ride was good but slow. Nice to see you got to see a waterfall. The tubing was on steroids. Had a few in the group get banged up a little on the rocks. Rapids were class 3 to 4. Workers did a really nice job safety wise. They were on top of things. We went last March, and water was not as rough. Ziplining was great. Beautiful going thru the canyon. Definitely will take friends back

Amazing time! The staff are patient and work well with everyone! Each aspect of the excursion was either a first (horseback riding) or the best version of something I’ve done previously (tubing down rapids and zip lining). Great experience overall!
