Overview

We are very passionate about surfing and about you both having fun + learn and improve your surfing skills. If you don't get up you get your money back!

Meeting points

We meet at the back of the cafe Pico Bistro in Tamarindo, next to the lifeguard tower. If you for whatever reason have trouble finding us, you can ask for La Muda Surf, Carlos Brown, Isabella Carrera and Jeison Brown.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Itinerary

- You will learn safety, the basics of surfing, how to stand up and catch your first wave. - If you are intermediate, learn tips and improve your skills with a local professional surfer. - The lesson is 1.5-2h long, depending on how many people we send per instructor. - The lesson includes the surf board + rash guard. Tamarindo is one of the best surf spots when it comes to learning how to surf. With clean, gentle waves you're gonna have a blast while also feeling safe. Only thing you need to bring is your swimsuit, sun screen and a positive attitude! Let's catch some good waves together. IF you want to book a lesson at another beach please contact us.

Great experience

Great class. Our instructor was very enthusiastic and did not give up until we surfed. My daughter surfed like an experienced surfer in the end of the class. The owner was very kind and gave us guidance which places to visit in Tamarindo. She also took great professional pictures when we surfed.

Caleb & Chino were really attentive & positive. I felt like they gave my wife & I (and our friends) good feedback and helped us improve with each set of waves. I wanted to get in as much riding as possible, so I tried to quickly paddle back to them after each ride. These guys matched my intensity and egged me on. They answered our questions and were fun to be around. I’d use them again.

The surf lesson was very fun. They gave us clear directions before we go in the water and let us practice. And once we went in the instructor helped us and was very friendly. They made sure we had a great time.

Bryan, Caleb , and Jason were top notch! All 4 of us caught multiple waves. These guys put in full effort and were able to help each of us. 100% would go back to them again.

We had a fantastic experience with Caleb as our instructor. He was warm hearted and gave us fantastic instruction to be able to surf as newbies. We got easy instructions on where to meet - no ambiguity. Showers were there for afterward and parking easy. The entire team was fun, professional, and stressed safety. Job well done!
