Overview

This tour will take you to Shosenkyo, the most beautiful valley in Japan, where you will experience making Hoto, a local cuisine, and trekking through the beautiful valley. This one-day adventure tour includes a ropeway ride to enjoy the spectacular view of Mt.Fuji. From Kofu Station, take a local bus to the Hoto-making experience site while enjoying the local townscape. During the houtou-making experience, local moms and papas will kindly and happily teach you how to make houtou. After filling our stomachs, we will go trekking in the canyon, which is said to be the most beautiful canyon in Japan! After a 30-minute walk, you will arrive at the ropeway station. Take the ropeway to the top of the mountain! If you still have strength left, go to a more spectacular view point! If you are still fit, we will take you to a more spectacular viewpoint! You can rest assured that you will be supported by a private guide who is a native of the area.

A guide with a red backpack will be waiting for you in front of the statue of Lord Shingen Takeda.

What To Expect

1. Meet in front of the statue of Lord Shingen Takeda at the south exit of Kofu Station. From there, we will take a 45-minute bus ride to our destination, Shosenkyo. Please enjoy the local streets of Kofu on the bus.

2. Lunch includes the experience of making "houtou", a local dish. 1 hour 30 minutes

3. Senga Waterfall It takes about 20 minutes on foot from the lunch place. It is the core comfort of Shosenkyo Gorge, which is said to be the most beautiful valley in Japan. Enjoy the beautiful flow of Senga Falls and the beauty of the valley. 20 minutes

4. Round-trip fare for the Shosenkyo Ropeway is included. Tickets will be purchased by the guide. 1 hour 45 minutes

5. Shosen Valley After getting off the ropeway, take the local bus back to Kofu Station. Again, take the bus to the south exit of Kofu Station, which takes about 45 minutes. The tour ends when you arrive at the south exit of Kofu Station! Thank you very much:)
