This tour is designed for guests who don’t want to dedicate their entire day in Wine Country, or only visiting for a short time. Start your day around noon time as we head North to the Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy the scenic San Francisco skyline in the distance as we travel through Sausalito, the seaside Mediterranean village across the San Francisco Bay and into the world-famous Wine Country. As the vine-covered hillsides come into view, you will visit 2 of our favorite wineries for wine tastings and an exclusive estate tour! Experience the inner workings of the wineries and their family history. as an expert wine host walks you through the fermentation process, barrel aging, bottling, and of course tastings of some award winning varietals! NOTE: All winery locations subject to change without notice; Wine tastings will take place outdoors.

Start your day at Fisherman's Wharf just after lunch time!
Golden Gate Bridge (Pass By)

We head North to the Golden Gate Bridge. Enjoy a scenic driver over the Golden Gate Bridge to catch the signature San Francisco skyline in the distance.
Sausalito (Pass By)

Next, we drive through the beautiful seaside town of Sausalito, the Mediterranean-like village harbored across the San Francisco Bay and famous for its sweeping views on our way to Wine Country.
Sonoma Valley

As the vine-covered hillsides come into view, you will visit 2 of our favorite wineries for wine tastings and an exclusive estate tour! Experience the inner workings of the wineries and their family history in Napa & Sonoma Valley, as an expert wine host walks you through the fermentation process, barrel aging, bottling, and of course tastings of some award winning varietals! A fantastic day out

What a great day. A 27-seater coach and only 2 of us on it. Most companies would have cancelled due to lack of numbers but our trip went ahead. Our driver, Grady, gave a very comprensive narative on things along the route and the history of winemaking in California. Being just the two of us, we got special attention at both wineries and more than the normal amount of tastings. Just a fantastic day all round.

We loved our half day tour in Sonoma! Our guide/driver, Grady, was the best, sharing information and history of the area. A true gentleman. We would def recommend to all. The 2 vineyards we went to were amazing. Great wine and knowledgeable staff.

Half-Day Wine Tour Highly Recommended

We took our half-day wine tour with Joanne as our guide in December 2024. Joanne was informative, personable, and entertaining. This was our first trip to San Francisco and she provided us with suggestions and tips for things to do and places to go beyond just our winery destinations. We visited two wineries, Madonna and RuVango, with Madonna being our favorite. RuVango may have had more to offer in terms of scenery, but the people were friendlier and the wine tastier at Madonna. On the way back into the city, Joanna treated us to a stop at the Golden Gate Bridge. Due to the time of year and the time we were returning, the sun was setting and made for some spectacular photos. If you don't think you're up for a full day wine tour (at our age we don't have the stamina) or can't spend the entire day away, the half-day tour is still certainly worthwhile.
