Overview

You will learn to make pasta, and some fantastic Italian dishes with fun. I'm specialized in using produce that is organic, locally grown.I want to provide you an organic and sustainable experience. I provide guests the best selections of organic food and we only cook with extra virgin organic olive oil. On request I can make also glueen free class or kids cooking class.  Menu: two kind of pasta hand made, an italian dessert siders, wines olive oil and wine tasting and farm visit. My philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible we produce our items in house

We will meet at my farm that is at 13 minutes from chiusi, Siena. Please park outside the gate, don’t worry it’s safe!

Itinerary

We will meet at my organic farm , we'll cook in a large kitchen and eat on the patio or in the dining room if the weather is not good.We are happy to make every week a family cooking class! The cost includes 2 adults and 2 kids under 16 yers old. If you are 4 adult please send me a message it is not considered on this tour. Kids can be very skilled to make pasta playing with organic flour! We have a young daughter, 7 years old, who is becoming a chef, she already make pasta very day with us! We can make gnocchi (potatoes dumplings) or/and tagliatelle or maltagliati, bad cut home made pasta that it is easier to eat without rolling it with the fork! And off course ravioli, or tortelli, and if you like also the Tuscan Gnudi. This is the filling of big ravioli with a good simple tomatoes sauce. Also we ill make the strawberries or chocolate Tiramisu (pull me up in English!). We will choose the season menu together that will includes 2 home made pastas and an Italian dessert! You can ask to have the class in Umbria or in Tuscany.

A Cooking class with passion and fun.

Not to be missed! Alina’s passion for the local products and cooking was palatable. We laughed and chatted with the other guests and were able to ask for hints and info all the way through the process. We made two types of pasta as well as Yogurt Strawberry Tiramisu. All the food was then served up with sauces and locally produced red wine and enjoyed as a lunch with our new friends. Alina even catered for my gluten free requirements. We then got a tour of the Olive oil production mill and learnt about the family perfected process.

Lots of fun making pasta with different sauces. Very rewarding eating the end results al fresco in a picture worthy setting.

We learned to make 4 pasta dish and 1 dessert, all homemade, hearty and authentic Italian dishes. Alina is a great host and her family is amazing! Her mom Lucia takes care of the organic farm and research of new food products. Alina is the cooking teacher who welcomes us with her family-made olive oil and wine, coffee, 2 cute dogs and her daughter. The estate is beautiful with their own garden, grapes and olive farm. We toured around the farm and the olive mill that makes freshly pressed olive oil. It’s a wonderful trip with good food and wine, took home a few recipes and lovely food produce!
