Discover Montpellier during a short but sweet excursion, in which you will learn the most interesting facts about the city, the local lifestyle and the modern transformation of the city. We will meet at Church Saint-Roch and will go on our stroll from there :-) Discover what the everyday life of a local looks like and learn where the city gets its characteristic ambience from, by seeing it through the eyes of a local. Walking through the city, you will discover exactly what makes Montpellier special! This is also your chance to get insider tips about the best cafes, restaurants and bars to visit during your time here and learn how to make the most out of your visit. This is the perfect experience for someone visiting the city for the first time or someone that wants to rediscover it!

What To Expect

1. Begin your experience at the beautiful Neo-Gothic Church Saint-Roch and take a look at the painted rocks scattered around the Saint-Roch Square

2. Take a walk around the Place de la Comédie and admire the monumental Fountain of the Three Graces that lies in its center

3. Walk along the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle and enjoy the refreshing and relaxing atmosphere it provides

4. Discover the Notre-Dame des Tables, an elegant basilica which is closely tied to Montpellier’s history

5. Explore the Place de la Canourgue and take a look at the scallop shell corner on Hôtel de Sarret, the unicorn fountain and the view on the Saint-Pierre Cathedral

6. Take a look at the impressive Montpellier Cathedral

7. Visit the lovely Jardin des Plantes and/or the Jardin de la Reine

8. Discover the imposing Saint-Clément Aqueduct, which supplies Montpellier’s numerous and beautiful fountains

9. End your experience at the famous Triumphal Arch
