Itinerary

  • Colosseum

Important: Visit only the outside of the Colosseum. Begin your adventure visiting the Colosseum. With your knowledgeable guide, you'll delve into the fascinating history of this ancient amphitheater and imagine the roar of the crowd during gladiatorial contests. The visit will be done from the outside. Entrance fees are not included.

    30 minutes

  • Circo Massimo

Cruise through the ancient Circus Maximus, once the site of exhilarating chariot races, and ascend Palatine Hill for a breathtaking view of the Roman Forum. These lesser-explored areas offer a tranquil escape from the bustling crowds, allowing you to absorb the rich history at your own pace.

    20 minutes

  • Bocca della Verita (Pass By)

The Mouth of Truth and the medieval legend. The Mouth of Truth is first used for this purpose by husbands jealous of their wives, and from here a set of legends flourishes. The international fame of the monument is also due to a famous scene from the film Roman Holiday (1953) with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck.

  • Teatro di Marcello (Pass By)

It is the oldest surviving stone theater in Rome. It replaced the old wooden structures at the edge of the Faminio circus which were used for performances. It was dedicated to Augustus' nephew, Marcellus, who was his heir but died prematurely.

  • Insula dell'Ara Coeli

The Insula dell'Ara Coeli is a Roman-era building located on the slopes of the Capitoline Hill, in Rome, in a corner between the staircase leading to the basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli (hence the name) and the Vittoriano.

    10 minutes

  • Piazza Venezia / Ancient City (Pass By)

Venice plaza. The History, the Palaces, the Vittoriano, the Museums. Piazza Venezia, the tourist heart of Rome, is famous for the historic buildings that surround it: Palazzo Venezia, Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali and the Vittoriano. It is the main artery that leads from Via dei Fori Imperiali beyond the Roman Forum to the Colosseum.

  • Piazza Navona

In the center of Piazza Navona there are 3 fountains: the Fontana del Moro, the Fontana de' Calderari, also known as the Fountain of Neptune, both works by Giacomo della Porta and, in the centre, the imposing Fountain of the Four Rivers, the work of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. During the empire the Stadium of Domitian stood here.

    30 minutes

  • Pantheon

Important: Visit only the outside of the Pantheon. The Pantheon was originally built by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa between 27 and 25 BC. and was dedicated to the worship of all the Olympian Gods. 30 minutes

  • Column of Marcus Aurelius (Pass By)

The column is 100 Roman feet high - about thirty meters and the wars of Marcus Aurelius against the Germans (172-173 AD) and the Sarmatians (174-175 AD) are narrated in bas-reliefs. It was built around 180 AD. The column is located in front of Palazzo Chigi, seat of the Italian Government since 1961.

  • Fontana di Trevi

The Trevi Fountain was built in 19 BC. when the consul Marco Vipsanio Agrippa brought the Acqua Vergine to the city, named in honor of the girl who showed the soldiers the source. The fountain represented the final point of the aqueduct, but it was not as majestic as we see it today. The construction of the fountain began in 1732, and Clement XII inaugurated it in 1735.

    25 minutes

  • Piazza Di Spagna

With the Trinità dei Monti staircase, it is one of the most famous squares in Rome. It takes its name from the historic presence of the Spanish embassy at the Holy See. It is located in a luxury shopping district, with Via Condotti, via Frattina, or via del Babuino.

    10 minutes

  • Palazzo Del Quirinale (Pass By)

With a surface area of 110,500 m2, it is the sixth largest building in the world, 20 times larger than the White House, and a place of tourist attraction for the beauty of its architecture, designed by Domenico Fontana, Carlo Maderno and Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who here created the evocative Loggia delle Benedizioni. Palazzo del Quirinale has been the residence of the presidents of the Italian republic since 1955.

COLISEUM Vactican Golf Cart Tour

Published on Sep, 2024

Wr took the hop on hop off tour. Our Stefano was amazing. He took tome to explain everything he should us. We could tell his love for Rome and the history in all he shared with us. The Coliseum, Vatican Spanish Step and everything else he shared was so interesting. Our day ended with him introducing us with the folks at II Ristoro del Patriota which was amazing too. I highly recommend this tour and would specifically ask for Stefano. He certainly made it a very memorable experience.

Awesome!

My family and I took a golf cart tour with Stefano and it was amazing! Stefano was super informative and had excellent communication with our group prior and during the tour. We have never been to Rome before and only had 48 hours to explore and this tour covered all of the main attractions. Stefano was an excellent guide and I highly recommend him for a golf cart tour.
