Overview

Explore El Yunque National Rain Forest with a certified tour guide, we begin driving up the mountain about 3,000 feet above sea level. First stop will be at Yokahu tower, an obsevation tower to appreciate and take expectacular photos of El Yunque, second we’ll be making a stop at La Coca falls to see the beauty of this natural wonder, third we’ll be making a hike for approximately 45 mnts in one of the available trails (intermediate trail). Next stop is a waterhole stop for swimming in one of the available rivers (swimming optional).

Itinerary

El Yunque National Forest

Go up the mountain of El Yunque for aproximately 2,000 feet above sea level, make a stop at Yokahu Tower to capture total view of the Rain Forest a second stop at La Coca Waterfall and finally make a walk along one of the trails with a natural pool that guest can usually swim depending on the weather conditions.

Despite areas of El Yunque being closed due to flooding, Harry ensured we had a memorable trip to the Rainforest. A great tour if you want to experience the Rainforest without too much hiking!

It was a great tour. The tour guide was great!! The Hike was really hilly but good to be in the rainforest. The Tower was awesome. Great views!!

Breath taking, it is beautiful, and so peaceful. Richard and Paul were fantastic with our adventurous kiddo and making sure everyone was safe and got the most out of the experience. Recommended to go early. If you have not been in nature before, this may not be for you.

Harry is a fantastic guide. He’s knowledgeable and knows just where to go and where to stop. His navigation up the busy, winding roads alone was worth the money paid.

We had a great time on this tour overall the only thing I’d say is I was expecting more of a hike . The hike was 20 minutes to a river where we can swim and 20 minutes back . We went a few places to see a water fall and a lookout tower but it was closed so we missed going inside . I think this is a great tour for family’s as the hiking isn’t much and about half of the time was spent driving to and from the rainforest and around to the waterfall .
