    Summary of the tour, where we'll go and what can you expect from the tour, some filming locations and stories will be revealed

  • Lovrjenac Fortress

    We'll spend some 30-40 minutes on the fort that was used for many scenes (Red Keep, Blackwater Bay,...). The guide will present the book of photos throughout the tour, so you can compare on spot, the scen from the series vs. the reality

Alex was amazing! Her knowledge was 10/10 and she made the tour really fun. We learned so much about the filming and props. Absolutely worth doing Lokrum island as part of the tour we spent the rest of the day there. Thank you Alex for a brilliant tour!

Alex was our tour guide and did a phenomenal job! Wonderful blend of Game of Thrones and local history of the space! Easy to understand and digest, and breathing room for the whole group to stay alive and take pictures!

Best Tour for Short Amount of Time

We are here in Dubrovnik during the shoulder season when it is not that crowded. We started out with a group of ten. Five of the ten did not go to Lokrum Island with us. Alex, our guide was very professional and personable. She took everyone’s group photos and gave good recommendations for restaurants on the island and in Dubrovnik. Remember to buy your Dubrovnik pass, because during the tour, you need to pay for admission into the castle. You also have to pay separately for the round trip ferry ride to Lokrum Island. There is much to explore on the island on your own. After a quick tour of the island and museum with the Game of Thrones Iron Throne with photo ops, we were left on our own to explore the island. Remember to have euros to tip your guide. If this is your first time to Dubrovnik, it’s worth doing the tour to get a sense and pulse of the place. If you’re only doing one tour, this is the tour to take.

The GOT walking tour (plus Lokrum extension) gives you a lot of the same information about the Old City, but adds flare with insider details for fans of the show. Alexandria was a terrific guide and we enjoyed our tour.
