Burj Khalifa Burj Khalifa is a skyscraper located in the Emirate of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and the Burj Khalifa is the tallest building constructed by humans and the tallest tower in the world with a height of 828 meters. Construction began in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates on January 6, 2004, and the external structure was completed on the first of October 2009, and it was officially inaugurated on January 4, 2010, becoming the tallest building in the world in place of the Taipei 101 Tower in Taiwan and the tower from the construction of Emaar. It is a building of reinforced concrete. The building opened in 2010, as part of a new development called Downtown Dubai. It is designed to be the centerpiece of a large scale, multi-use. The decision to build the building is said to be based on the government’s decision to diversify an oil-based economy, and Dubai to be a global destination. 1 hour 30 minutes
