Continue on to the shores of Bow Lake, where you can snap photos of the Range's jagged peaks, and check out the icy foot of the Crowfoot Glacier. Learn how this massive sheet of ice carved out the area's mountain-studded skyline, and then swing by Peyto Lake, whose blue-green waters seem to glow due to their high mineral content.

What To Expect

1. Banff Bus Ride from Calgary to Banff National Park / Pick up at Banff Town 1 hour 30 minutes

2. Icefields Parkway One of Canada's national treasures and most rewarding destinations. Stretching 232km (144mi) through the heart of Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site, this world-class journey offers access to a vast wilderness of pristine mountain lakes, ancient glaciers and broad sweeping valleys 2 hours

3. Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre At the edge of the Columbia Icefield, hop out to explore a small corner of the largest icefield in North America and consider consider an OPTIONAL tour to the Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer. A once in a lifetime experience to visit the heart of the incredible Icefields Parkway, one of the largest non-polar ice fields in the world. Climb on board an all-terrain Ice Explorer and head on to the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. Walk on, feel and drink from the ancient ice while you learn about glaciers and icefields. **Please note that this stop point includes lunch break **Please not that this stop does not include SKYWALK due to the tour length concern **With the high demand, we strongly recommend to book the option provided with admission 2 hours 30 minutes

4. Peyto Lake It's milky blue color is unique and will change with the seasons and time of day. (if closed, replaced by Waterfowl Lakes) 20 minutes

5. Bow Lake It is the headwaters of the Bow River that runs south through the city Calgary and onto the Oldman River ultimately to Hudson Bay. 20 minutes

6. Crowfoot Glacier Named after its shape when was discovered. A must-see stop with the climate change nowadays. The "Third toe" was melted and barely visible. 15 minutes

7. Banff Bus Ride From Icefield back to Banff National Park 2 hours

8. Calgary Bus Ride from Banff National Park back to Calgary 1 hour 30 minutes

Calgary and Ice Fields Fun!!

Our tour departed and returned to Calgary. David, our driver and guide, was professional, knowledgeable, and caring. We had plenty of restroom stops, and he shared lots of context on all the major highlights. We also participated in the Ice Fields Discover add-on. The Ice Fields and the Discovery vehicle ride were amazing! Our driver, Logan, was excellent—and made us feel safe.

Amazing views! Not just on the glacier and the lakes but also along the Columbia Ice Parkway! The great white north has so much to offer! Our tour guide/driver Alan was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We had a great time! 13/10 recommend!

Fun experience at the Icefields.

It was a memorable experience. Our guide was bilingual and I could understand both languages. The translation was accurate and well spoken. He prioritized English although the passengers were 60% Mandarin speaking. Remember to opt for the Explorer in order for you to visit the Glacier.

We went with Brewster Day tour Very well run We stopped off at Lake Louise and about another 4 or 5 different turquoise lakes The glacier walk was amazing with a mega coach ride down the steepest hill. The glacier was extremely slippery so good footwear and tread is a must And very cold even though sunny The scenery getting there is amazing Lunch was included and this was excellent overlooking the glacier It also included the skywalk a glass floored walk over a very deep ravine. A great full day out
