Meet your guide and group at the gated entrance to Chinatown (Bush & Grant Streets) to start your exploration of some of San Francisco's most dynamic neighborhoods. As you walk through Chinatown, you'll learn about Chinese culture and mysticism as you taste dim sum from one of the oldest bakeries in the area. Stroll past some of the district's interesting sculptures and listen as your guide points out some remarkable architecture.

We'll explore Chinatown through a tea tasting and enjoy some local foods
North Beach (Pass By)

Next, head for North Beach, where you'll learn about the history and culture of this historically Italian neighborhood. My daughter and I loved the food tour. Scott was informed, friendly, knowledgeable about the history and present time in San Francisco. He showed up with a bag of goodies. We sat in a historical park and we ate our snacks while he talked about our tour. Everything was my favorite but tea tasting was top for me. I loved the entire experience. I know i will do it again.

I had Andre he was wonderful, extremely knowledgeable, kind, entertaining and attentive. He is exactly who you want to take you around these neighborhoods - he knows the history inside and out and has developed a strong bond with local business owners. In our time together, he showed us so much in Chinatown and North Beach, many unique and interesting stories about the history of the neighborhoods and plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations. He took special interest in our group dynamics and needs to make sure the tour felt valuable and worth our time. I would highly recommend this company and appreciate the experience to get to learn more about these parts of the city! Thank you!

Our tour guide, Andre, made this tour truly special. He was informative and friendly. The tour itself was terrific, a great balance between food stops and walking. I thought a 4 hour tour might be a little much, but the time flew by and we got a great overview of both Chinatown and North Beach.
