What To Expect

1. Heart Creek Trail Head You will meet your guide at the Parking lot there you will receive our mandatory safety briefing and get all the gear you will need for this adventure. After an approximately 45-minute hike from the parking lot to the canyon, you will participate in a rappel workshop where you will have the opportunity to practice some basic rope skills before entering the canyon. The upper section of the canyon can be relatively dry depending on the conditions, providing ample opportunity to practice rappelling and take in the scenery before getting wet in the lower section. Entering this last section, you’ll be rewarded with an incredible 18-meter waterfall and a massive sense of accomplishment. The trip will conclude with a series of fun slides and a hike back to the cars. 4 hours

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Fantastic experience

It rained hard before our meeting time, we were worried about the cold and wet. So were our guides, as they brought the dry suits rather than the wet suits. Huge plus, as the water was cold. We met about 30 minutes before our set time, learned about our two guides, Guillaume and Olivia, and what to expect. We hiked for about 45 minutes along the creek and through the forest. Once we reached our top point we dressed in our suits and learned how to rappel. Then we were off to the first waterfall. It was so fun, it's not easy to describe. It is a must to experience. Each waterfall, pool and slide had it's own unique challenge. But the last one was over the top. I was pumped that our group all went over the last one like champions. We had a group of 8, 3 adults and 5 teens (13 thru 48). There was some down time when waiting for group members to do their thing, this just allowed us more visiting time. We all had different athletic abilities, that our guides inquired about to make sure they understood our levels. They were very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. The things I would do differently: bring sufficient snacks and a waterproof camera/gopro.

Memorable and unique experience

We had a wonderful tour with Guillame and Olivia! We were a group of 8 (3 adults, 5 teenagers) and went at the end of May. Our guides were personable, patient and accommodating. The water was chilly but the drysuits kept us comfortable. It was a memorable experience that we would definitely recommend to others!

An amazing way to explore places few people get to see

The guides were great at moving through the terrain efficiently and explaining everything to a first-timer like me. It was such a fun experience and it makes me want to explore other canyons in the same way. Rappelling over the waterfall was definitely the highlight and quite refreshing on a hot day!

If you’re looking for a sign— this is it! An outdoor adventure like no other. Easily, one of the most unique, exciting, and euphoric experiences I’ve ever been on. Being new to canyoning, I went in nervous and uncertain of what to expect, but Guillaume and the team were so knowledgeable and welcoming, they immediately made me feel like I was part of the group. The experience itself is absolutely mind blowing, and the team’s patience and focus on safety is top notch. With everything prepared and provided for you, they make it so accessible. Cliche as it may sound, if you’re debating it— just do it. You’ll have no regrets! I’ve been eagerly waiting for the season so I can go on another trip with the group!

My Boyfriend and I did this tour after doing their Okanagan Canyoning tour and we absolutely LOVED IT!! If you're not doing it during your time in Banff you are missing out!
