Overview

We will start our day by vistiting the biggest caves in Portugal on our way to Fatima. After the caves we are going to the small town where the 3 young sheppards live before we go to visit the the Shrine of Fátima, one of the most important places for the cult of Virgin Mary in the world, where in 1917 She appeared to the three little shepherds. You'll have all the time you need to visit the sanctuary. During the day you'll decide where and what to lunch (not included). You can decide the departure time that best suites you. To go and return from Fatima we'll use the highway (A1), when possible, for your convenience.

What To Expect

1. Grutas de Mira de Aire Mira D'aire caves are the biggest and most impressive caves in Portugal. After 1 hour driving by the highway we'll get to the caves to visit them (ticket included). 1 hour 30 minutes

2. Casa De Lucia House where Lucia lived 15 minutes

3. Casa De Francisco & Jacinta Marto The house where the Saints Jacinta and Francisco lived 15 minutes

4. One of the most important pilgrimage places in the world with a special atmosphere. The famous chapel of the apparitions where our lady of Fatima has show to Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco it's located in this place between Basilica of out Lady of Rosary and Basilica of Holy Trinity. 2 hours

5. Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima Basilica of Rosario is the most iconic building in the Sanctuary of Fatima and also the last address of the Saints Jacinta Marto and Francisco Marto. A special place for believers of any religion 30 minutes

6. Basilica of the Holy Trinity The new Basilica of Fatima can hold up to 8000 believers praying. After the visit is completed we'll return to your hotel by highway that will take about 1h 15 minutes
