Overview

Departing from Avignon, stroll through the Provencal market of Aix en Provence, one of the largest and most beautiful in the region, also located in the historic center of the city. After a Provençal picnic composed only of products from local farms (example: hard-boiled eggs, tapenade, pepper cream, goat cheese, seasonal fruit, grape juice), you will do a wine tasting in one of the estates. Luberon, before strolling through the magnificent listed village of Lourmarin with its superb castle.

Wait for me in front of the Le Bristol hotel. My car is black with Ventourisme on the sides. If you are not staying in Avignon intramural, please contact me to try to organize a better meeting point.

What To Expect

1. Cours Mirabeau After 1 hour drive from Avignon. Stroll through the large Provençal market which takes place in the historic center of Aix en Provence, including the Cours Mirabeau, the Fontaine des Rotondes, the Forum or the Place des Prêcheurs. Duration of the visit: approximately 2 hours Then picnic in the surroundings of Aix en Provence (duration: approximately 1 hour) then 45 minutes drive to the Luberon. 3 hours

2. Luberon Tasting of AOC Luberon appellation wines in an estate located in the south of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, in the middle of landscapes that have served as settings for French cinema films. Please note that wine tasting in France is prohibited for people under 18 years of age. Duration of the visit: between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Then 15 minutes drive to Lourmarin. 1 hour

3. Lourmarin Marvel in the magnificent streets of Lourmarin, a village classified among the most beautiful in France, with its beautiful castle in both medieval and Renaissance style. Duration of the visit: approximately 1 hour. Then 1 hour drive to Avignon. 1 hour
