Overview

This is one of the most comprehensive walking tours of Paris - a must for first-time visitors to the city! You will hear about and possibly meet some of the legends of one of Europe’s best-loved cities. Included in the tour, is the incredible Eiffel Tower, a lively stroll through old Montmartre where Van Gogh and Picasso once lived, and then upwards to the Sacre-Coeur for the best panoramic view of the City of Light. The show continues down with a view of the Champs élysées and the majestic Arc de Triomphe and not forgetting the Moulin Rouge we will experience a beautiful slice of French culture in the Latin Quarter where you can pick up a snack from a nearby street market filled with patisseries.

Meeting Point

PLEASE CROSS THE ROAD TO THE CENTRE ISLAND. We meet at the Information KIOSK that is directly in front (outside) of metro ANVERS station. If you are arriving by Uber or Taxi give an extra 10mins for traffic (and cancelled Ubers). This is the closest address 72 Blvd Marguerite de Rochechouart, 75018

What To Expect

1. Elysee Montmartre We will be just passing by this old theatre of Montmartre.

2. Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre Depending on time and the queue to go we should get to go inside. You will hear about the history and the stories about the Sacre coeur.. 20 minutes

3. Montmartre You will hear about the history and the stories about the Montmartre. We will twist and turn through the old streets where famous painters once walked. 1 hour

4. Hotel de Ville You will hear about the history and the stories about Hotel de ville. This is where the Water merchants made there coat of arms famous.

5. Arc de Triomphe We won't be going up, just to be clear...But you will hear about the history and the stories about the Arc de Triomphe. Started by Napoleon but who finished it? We won't be going up it but we will get some great photos. 20 minutes

6. Louvre Museum We won't be going inside, just to be clear. The incredible Louvre museum, but it wasn't always a museum. You will hear about the history and the stories about the Louvre.

7. Eiffel Tower How did this become the figure of Paris? You will hear about the history and the stories about the Eiffel Tower. We do not go inside. 30 minutes

8. Moulin Rouge You will hear about the history and the stories about the Moulin Rouge. Don't say you can't Can-Can because you... 10 minutes

9. Quartier Latin Is it filled with Latin bars, we will see. You will hear about the history and the stories about the Latin Quarter. 15 minutes

10. Jardin des Tuileries Commissioned by the nastiest of French Queens. You will hear about the history and the stories about the Jardin de Tuileries. 20 minutes

11. Champs-Elysees We all know and have heard of it. But soon it will be changing forever. You will hear about the history and the stories about the Champs-Élysées. 5 minutes

12. La Maison de Dalida Who was she and why do people from all over the world come here to see it?

13. Pont Neuf The oldest bridge in Paris. But its name would suggest otherwise. Sightseeing and photos

14. Le Trocadero et son esplanade Get the best view of the Eiffel Tower from here. You will hear about the history and the stories about the area. 20 minutes

15. Conciergerie The old old castle in the heart of Paris. Sightseeing and photos

16. Fontaine Saint-Michel You may recognise it from Emily in Paris. Sightseeing and photos

17. Place de la Concorde Perhaps the largest sun dial in history...Sightseeing and photos

18. Place du Tertre Come and see all the old artists paint and why not pick up a picture for home. Sightseeing and Photos 5 minutes

19. Le Bateau-Lavoir Where one of the greatest modern artists started out. Sightseeing and Photos

Excellent "Intro to Paris"

Our family of three enjoyed this tour very much! It was a great "intro to Paris" for our short visit, allowing us to get a taste of the neighborhoods and see the top attractions. We appreciated the size of our group was reasonable (13) and the host engagement (Olivia was lovely)!

My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time! We had Matt as our tour guide and not only was he so good at keeping us on track but we also had so much fun with him as we went through the day. Matt was so great at delivering the historical facts along with each sight which just enriched our experience more as we got to truly understand the significance behind each beautiful landmark (not an easy feat since French history can be dense and confusing!) All in all I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

I got this tour from Daniel on air bnb. He was good with providing me all the information needed for a first timer. Eden led the tour. She detailed each sight we visited. She was very friendly and informative. She was our hand on photograph. She has made our day! Eden also shared some overall recommendations during our stay. She is amazing!

An amazing way to see all the top attractions in Paris. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and found all the information really interesting. Plenty of great spots along the way to take photos. The whole tour was very well thought out. We would definitely recommend!

I'm quite pleased with the tour experience, Elene was Amazing! Great Personality, Very knowledgeable on Parisian history and important locations. She was very respectful of everyone and even offered to take pictures so we could have memories. That was definitely much appreciated. She was punctual and made sure everyone was ready with metro cards prior to leaving the meeting location. Another nice touch was sharing her personal list of recommendations for the rest of our trip.
