Overview

Join us on this adventure aboard one of our fantastic Portuguese jeeps. Throughout this adventure we will explain the history of some of the most important monuments of Sintra and show you some of the best sights that our town has to offer (one of them is top secret). During the morning you will have the opportunity to visit the most visited monument in Portugal and that is a UNESCO world heritage site. After the visit to the palace we will continue to the village of colares, where we will leave at your disposal the choice of one of the local restaurants that exist there. For the afternoon we leave the most exciting part of this adventure, where we will pass through off roads, beaches and breathtaking viewpoints. Finally, we finish in Cascais, where you can visit the historical center of the town, some of the beaches and take the train back to Lisbon.

What To Expect

1. Sintra National Palace Viewpoint over the historical center of Sintra and the national Palace and tasting spring water from an old well known fountain at the same place. 20 minutes

2. Palacio e Parque Biester Brief historical explanation about the Biester Palace 10 minutes

3. Castelo dos Mouros Brief historical explanation about the Moorish Castle 10 minutes

4. Park and National Palace of Pena Free time to visit the Pena palace 2 hours

5. Colares Stop for lunch. 2 hours

6. Azenhas do Mar Viewpoint on the "Santorini of Portugal". 30 minutes

7. Praia da Adraga Take a walk on this wonderful beach. 30 minutes

8. Cabo da Roca Visit the most western point in europe. 30 minutes

9. Cascais Drop-off at Cascais train station 20 minutes

Amazing tour with incredible tour guides. I can’t recommend this tour enough!!

We went to Sintra with extended family. We were 13 people ranging from 6 to 72 years old. Enrique and Rafael catered to our every need. They know the “less traveled” roads so you get spectacular views that no one finds. We went off-roading to an amazing cliff view. Thanks so much, guys. Unforgettable experience!

Our tour started with Rafael picking us up in a bright red vintage jeep and greeting us with local pastries (which were delicious). We went on a one-of-a-kind tour of the coastline. We even got to see vantage points only accessible by jeep. On the way back, Rafael was kind enough to take us to a spot with amazing views of the palace and made great recommendations of places to eat in Sintra. Unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!!!
