2. Sintra National Palace
In the center of the town of Sintra, marking the landscape with the unmistakable silhouette of the two conical chimneys that crown the royal kitchen, stands the only palace that has spanned the entire history of Portugal and which contains one of the most beautiful collections of tiles, which goes from the 13th century to the 19th century.
Most likely, the first building was built around the 10th or 11th century, when Sintra was Islamic territory! Unmissable

3. Cascais
Depart towards Cascais, where you will discover a small fishing village, transformed into a summer resort for the Portuguese royal family at the end of the 19th century. Nowadays more cosmopolitan, this town will bring you a pleasant end to your tour. Take advantage and indulge in a traditionally made ice cream, or, why not, a pastel de nata by the sea.
Returning to Lisbon, pass through Estoril, an emblematic place for spies and exiles during World War II.
