Overview

As the leaders in the industry we feel it is our duty to have all our tours conducted by professionals. Our Manatee snorkel tours are guided by USCG Captain as well as a licensed and insured dive professional. Our in water professionals are trained as first responders, with First aid, CPR, AED administration and in-water rescue training. Captain and guides are also trained in manatee manners, through the Manatee Eco Tourism Association in coordination with United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The training allows us to lead the industry by operating the saftest tours on the water for our guest and manatees alike.

Itinerary

Join us as we explore the Kings Bay National Wildlife Refuge to find and swim alongside the gentle giants. As you embark on your journey, your Captain and In-Water Guide will teach you everything you need to know about interacting with these gentle creatures. In addition to learning manatee facts and their behavioral patterns, our captains are extremely knowledgeable about the Crystal River and Florida’s manatees, so they’ll be able to answer any questions you may have. Our tours include: full wet suits, mask, snorkel, and bottled water.. All of our tours leave from our onsite private docks, with heated changing facility and hot showers.

Fun Manatee experience!

A very fun day. We did the 10:30 am tour, but still got to see several manatees. Ryan and Glenn were awesome! Highly recommend.

The trip was amazing! So many manatees, so cool to swim with them, truly gentle giants. Our guide Ross was the best, very informative, fun and made you feel comfortable from the start. Our boat captain Andrew was also very informative, personable and fun. Highly recommend taking this tour and request Ross and Andrew. You won’t regret it! We’re looking forward to our next visit!

The trip was great. Captain Mark, Morgan and Ryan. We had a large group and they were fantastic. Made sure we knew how to use snorkels and that we had best experience possible.

The Waterfront Adventures Swim with the Manatees tour was first rate from start to finish. Captain's Ross and Mark were very professional and friendly. Captain Ross did a great job preparing us for the swim and went over the dos and don'ts of swimming with the manatees in a very friendly, informative way. Captain Mark, the boat captain, put us right next to the greatest number of manatees in the lagoon, so a simple drift with the current placed us right next to a large, friendly group. Ross made sure he pointed out approaching manatees and interesting facts regarding the lagoon throughout our adventure. At the end of our trip, Ross showed us a slide show of the many photos he took during our excursion. These were made available for purchase on a flash drive at what I feel was a reasonable cost. Swimming with the manatees was on my wife's bucket list and we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable, professional and fun way to fulfill her dream.
