Overview

An insider’s tour of the city, including grand buildings such as the City Hall, Grand Hotel, University and the Parliament. This 2-hour walking tour gives you a great introduction to the city, allowing you to further explore the city on your own during the rest of your trip, or it is perfect if you are only in Oslo for a short time.

Meeting points

Meet your guide near the University of Oslo on Karl Johan street. The central building with columns is Aula, and your guide will be waiting for you near the entrance (statue of P.A Munch to the right). Our guides wear dark blue jackets or t-shirts with a big logo on the back.

Great overview of city center

We had a great time on this 2 hour walking tour of Oslo. Our guide was a History major so she shared so many interesting highlights with us. It was a great overview of the entire city center. Highly recommend. Also it was only myself and my husband with the guide so that was nice.

The tour guide Emilia was excellent and very knowledgeable. The group ended up being very small due to no shows which helped make the tour seem very personable and this tour was exactly what I was looking for for a first timer in Oslo and helped me decide what I wanted to place priority on seeing as well as some dinner spots.
