Overview

Visit with us the castle Neuschwanstein, built by the fairy tale king Ludwig II. These unique building in the midst of the Bavarian alpine landscape will fascinate you! During the stay of several hours in Hohenschwangau you have the possibility to have lunch and to visit the castle Neuschwanstein with a guided tour in English. Weather permitting, you can hike to the viewpoint "Marienbrücke" where you can take incredible and breathtaking pictures of Neuschwanstein Castle. You can also visit Hohenschwangau Castle from the outside or, weather permitting, take a walk along the Alpsee lake. If the weather is cold, you can also visit the Museum of the Bavarian Kings at your own expense. By nightfall at the latest, you will return to Munich in a heated modern coach.

Meeting points

If you stand at Karlsplatz (Stachus) with your back to the fountains, you will see the toy shop "Obletter" on your left. If you continue straight ahead along Sonnenstraße, you will see the "Fielmann" eyewear store. There you will meet the tour guide and the coach.

  • Schloss Neuschwanstein

    Visit of the fairy tale castle Neuschwanstein. Time for taking photos on the famous viewing point "Marienbrücke" It is possible to have lunch in a restaurant.

A once in a lifetime experience. Awesome guide who was very knowledgeable. I am so glad we went in winter, The snow was truly beautiful. The history of the castle was interesting and somewhat sad at the same time.

Wow this was amazing our guide on the bus ride was very informative and really knew her stuff. Be warned this is not a tour for the faint hearted the walk up to the castle is a tough one especially in the snow.
