We end the tour in our Tourist Information shop around the corner from the Hofbrauhaus roughly four hours after the tour started.

  • Munich Marienplatz

    Our tour meets/begins at Marienplatz 15 where we share with our group the history of Munich, Marienplatz and the world famous Glockenspiel.

  • Mike's Bike Tours

    We do a quick stop here for our guests to purchase water and ponchos and let you know where we are in case you want to rent bikes after your tour.

  • Max-Joseph-Platz

    Here we explain the history of the Wittelsbach family and their role in putting Munich on the map.

    10 minutes

  • Hofgarten

    We stop here to tell guests about the Bavarian State Chancellory and the Hofgarten.

  • Residenz Munchen

    The Residenz, a magnificent complex of buildings in Munich, was once the royal palace of the Wittelsbach monarchs of Bavaria. This sprawling palace houses over 130 rooms, including the stunning Cuvilliés Theatre and the historic Hercules Hall. The Residenz is a testament to Bavarian history and architectural splendor, offering visitors a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the royal family. We ride through the Courtyards but do not go inside. You can do this at your own leisure after the tour. Admission is then applicable.

    We stop for a traditional lunch under the Chinese Tower. This is a self service food court that also has vegetarian options so everyone can eat what they want. The price of lunich is not inluded in the tour price.

    We have a quick stop here on the far side of the Isar River before continuing along the river to the next stop.

  • Isar

    We do a scenic ride along the Isar - the reason many of the locals live here as this is our "Beach" in summer.

    The Maximilianeum, a grand Neo-Renaissance building, was commissioned by King Maximilian II of Bavaria in 1857. Designed by Friedrich Bürklein, it initially served as an educational institution for gifted students. Situated on the banks of the Isar River, the Maximilianeum is a striking landmark on Maximilianstrasse, a renowned boulevard lined with Neo-Gothic palaces. We stop here for a quick photo op. Though construction was delayed, the building was eventually completed in 1874 and has since undergone renovations, particularly after World War II.

Kyle was an amazing tour guide for this adventure. He was very knowledgeable and funny. He took us to all the best sightseeing spots throughout Munich. Our group was asked who would like to be the last biker to make sure everyone remains together and safe...I volunteered. I was happy to be the one as one of our bikers wasn't very confident riding through a big city where cars, pedestrians, other bikers, trams, and buses share the road...I had to block traffic so she can get across the street safely. At the end of the tour, Kyle took the time to recognize me for helping keep the group safe and all together. He even gave me a gift for helping (it's a surprise for those who seize the opportunity. I would absolutely recommend this tour!!!

This was a great tour. Bob was our guide and was so knowledgeable. We got to see all of the best Munich sights! It was so fun to chat with Bob and the other participants.

Our Mike's-Bike-Tour guide was, Bob. We were impressed by his knowledge of Munich's history as we pedaled through town. Bob was also thorough in keeping everyone together and safe. Note that there were no hills to deal with on the tour.
